I've never charged my SB2 with anything other than the stock charger and occasionally with a 100W USB-C charger. I've found battery life of just the screen portion (so, undocked) to be pretty abysmal, even when using it for very simple tasks like reading comic books (which is has the perfect dimensions for). Some of the more demanding games cause it to draw so much power that, even plugged in, it still drains the batteries after a while. When docked, the SB2 makes use of both batteries. The 1060 *is* in the keyboard part, so when you're not docked it's not an option and you may have problems with apps that are expecting it, like games or apps you've manually configured to use the 1060 through the Nvidia Control panel. You can control which GPU is used for what by right-clicking on your desktop and opening the "Nvidia Control Panel". I've had to manually enable the 1060 for 3D Printer "slicer" apps like Cura and PrusaSlicer to get them to perform better. The GTX1060 kicks in for games, and maybe some other graphically intensive apps. Intel graphics are used "by default", even if you're docked. I may have to do a clean reinstall at some point. The Settings app now frequently fails to open (just sits there with a big blue window showing the cog icon) and a lot of the UI preferences that Windows 11 had the balls to change without asking didn't revert. Unfortunately the rollback hasn't been completely clean, either. Got told I was a lying troll by some random idiot on Facebook when I posted about my experience in the response to a PC Gamer article discussing people's upgrade woes. The most bizarre one was a general increase in the base load on my CPU (despite obviously not having one of the chips affected by the issues mentioned with AMD) task manager reported higher CPU from a cold start, and the fans in the display kicked in almost immediately every time. I experienced a surprising number of issues when I updated to Windows 11 on my SB2, so much so that I went ahead and rolled back after a few days. I'm so glad I'm not the only one - I thought I was going crazy/imagining things.
